Create a biography in the wiki
Everyone should head over to the wiki, have a look around, and add a biography page that describes themselves, their background and interests.
Try to use markdown, or another wiki format if you're familiar with it. You're free (read: encouraged) to upload images, or link to interesting pages of yours from around the web. If you use Twitter, academia.edu or similar, you can add links to those too.
This will be a nice way to get to know one another. Also, we may well return to our bio pages throughout the semester, updating with course feedback, assignment ideas, and so on. The more content you can add, the better!
Most commonly, Issues
are used to keep track of jobs that need to be done. Once you've added your page, comment on this issue with a link to your page, and maybe add a sentence about how it went. Once everyone has completed their page, I can close the issue, which means that the job is done!
